IRISH people may sometimes mistakenly think that November marks the start of winter.

However, the latest analysis of last month’s weather by Met Éireann suggests there should be little doubt in future that it is indeed a part of the warmer season of autumn.

According to Met Éireann, last November was one of the warmest in the past decade with average air temperatures two to three degrees above normal at 8C-11C.
