Man freed in drugs find probe

A 19-YEAR-OLD man arrested on Tuesday in connection with a drugs find in Waterford city last Sunday was yesterday released without charge.

One 25-year-old man is already facing charges in relation to the weekend incident, while a woman arrested on Wednesday has also been released without charge by gardaí in Waterford city.

Two men who fell into a coma following a party at Ballybeg Square in Waterford in the early hours of Sunday morning were still in a critical condition last night. The families of John Grey, 23, and Kevin Doyle, 21, remained at their loved ones’ bedsides in the intensive care unit at Waterford Regional Hospital throughout yesterday.
