Gardaí and army the least diverse

THE gardaí and army are the least religiously diverse occupations in the country.

Less than 5% of people in uniform are non-Catholics compared with one-quarter of computer technicians.

These details are contained in the CSO dossier on religious activity, which was released yesterday.
