Outlet to create 400 jobs

GIANT retailer Marks & Spencer is to open an outlet in Limerick giving jobs to about 400 people.

The 110,000-sq-ft mall will be housed in an extension to the Crescent Shopping Centre in Dooradoyle.

It is hoped to open in late 2009 depending on how the planning process goes. The company have been seeking a site in Limerick for 20 years.
