Doctors warn A&E conditions are returning to crisis point
Their representative body, the Association for Emergency Medicine, said the number of patients left waiting on trolleys was growing and waiting times were as bad as ever.
“In the latter half of 2006 things improved but for many departments they are back to the way they were and are getting worse,” president Fergal Hickey said.
