ROADSIDE car sellers in Kerry were yesterday warned their vehicles could be confiscated.

County council gets tough over roadside car sales and uncut hedges

In the Listowel area, vans, cars and trailers are being offered for sale on a site outside the town, while cars also appear for sale sporadically at roadsides in other parts of the county.

Kerry County Council said it was illegal to sell a car on the roadside unless it was on the owner’s property.
