GARDAÍ believe a young woman found dead in a south Dublin apartment yesterday was strangled.

A 32-year-old man believed to be her partner was arrested and is expected to be charged at a district court hearing early today in relation to her killing.

Shortly before 10am yesterday morning, gardaí were called to the Anna Livia apartment complex on James Street, Dublin 8. They arrested the man and brought him to Kilmainham Garda Station.
