Axed Swansea to Cork route could be restored
The Port of Cork confirmed that it is actively involved in negotiations with two operators that are considering restoring a service on the route. The Welsh assembly and Welsh port authorities are also engaged in the process.
The service, which was axed last October, carried about 100,000 passengers, 30,000 cars, and between 6,000 and 8,000 freight units during its March to October season.
