THE first major policyattack by the new-look Fine Gael front bench when the Dáil returns this week will be on one of its familiar themes — the state of the health services.

Health spokesman slams ‘cutbacks and lies’

The party’s new health spokesman Dr James Reilly yesterday said that Fine Gael would this week use its private members time todebate a motion highly critical of cancer services.

Dr Reilly said that the motion will condemn delays to the delivery of radiotherapy facilities and also call on the Government to urgently deliver other services for cancer patients.
