Man to appear in relation to fatal stabbing of his wife

A MAN is due to appear in court in Dublin this morning in relation to the fatal stabbing of his wife in their home on Tuesday last.

Jean Gilbert, a mother of three, was stabbed a number of times in the neck and chest in her home in Castleknock, north Dublin.

Her body was discovered in the kitchen after emergency services received a 999 call.
