Irish medicine watchdog reduces online sales of sex-enhancing drugs

EFFORTS to combat illegal sales of sex-enhancing drugs, steroids and other drugs online have been escalated this year — with much success.

Ireland’s medicine watchdog has contacted internet service providers of up to 80 websites in a bid to thwart the dangerous online sales of unregulated drugs.

Irish Medicine Board (IMB) chairman Pat O’Mahony described how the interception of illegal drug traffic, particularly sex-enhancing drugs, was being stepped up.
