Machetes, slash-hooks found after wedding brawl

GARDAÍ have said that no arrests were made after machetes, slash-hooks and hatchets were recovered following a riotous incident at a wedding reception in an up-market Co Wicklow hotel.

Yesterday, garda officers were trawling hedgerows around the four-star Tinakilly House Hotel in Rathnew, searching for other weapons brandished during the wedding party brawl.

The gardaí had been called at 11.20pm on Thursday when a brawl broke out at the wedding reception.
