CROKE Park has set a new goal to help GAA clubs tackle a syndrome that has devastated families throughout the country.

GAA bids to tackle SADS

The organisation has teamed up with the VHI to help reduce the occurrence of Sudden Arrhythmia Death Syndrome (SADS).

All clubs are being given a chance to buy automated external defibrillators at cost price, and the VHI has offered to arrange free training sessions on how to use the defibrillators to the first 125 clubs that apply.
