Security high for four in cocaine seizure

SECURITY was tight yesterday as all four men charged in connection with the State’s largest cocaine seizure were in court together for the first time.

Shortly before 10am, the Garda helicopter flew above a convoy of garda vehicles driving from Cork to Clonakilty District Court, where the four Englishmen appeared in front of Judge James McNulty.

Up to 100 onlookers watched the cavalcade arrive at 10.45am.
