Bachelor winner to net €9,000 if he weds in year

A 38-YEAR-OLD Kerryman who won an international bachelor competition is set to be a big hit with the girls.

Denis Guerin, from Ballyduff, won €1,000 when he was crowned Ballybunion Bachelor. But he has every incentive to change marital status as he will receive an extra €9,000 if he ties the knot within a year.

At present, Denis, who works in the Ballybunion Golf Hotel, doesn’t have a steady girlfriend, but that could soon change.
