Teacher bullying linked to websites

A BRITISH teaching union yesterday called for the Northern and Irish governments to start regulating mobile and internet providers — to stop teachers being bullied.

The NASUWT said there was increasing numbers of cases of websites such asBebo and MSN enabling young people to bully others and it claimed that bullying has spread to the teachers through ratemyteacher websites.

The union said there was also bullying of teachers and pupils through harassing text and picture messages.
