LITTERING continues to be a problem in one of Kerry’s most popular beach areas, despite the best efforts of the local community.

The Inch Strand Action Group, in the Dingle Peninsula, has been carrying out voluntary clean-ups for the past five years, but some people continue to leave their rubbish behind them.

Inch, one of Kerry’s 13 blue flag beaches, also needs more attention from Kerry County Council, according to action group chairman Brendan Griffin.
