LIMERICK’S summer street ambassadors resumed duty yesterday with a new enlarged team whose members include tourism guides from Poland, Peru and the US.

The ambassadors, inaugurated last summer, work as roving tourist helpers on the city’s streets.

The group who take to the streets this year include a Polish newspaper correspondent; a former Inca Trail tourist guide from Peru and a student from California.
