Bertie hoping for a KO over Enda tonight

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern is confident that he will have the measure of Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny in tonight’s head-to-head debate, senior Fianna Fáil officials have indicated.

They say Mr Ahern has done little debate preparation with his advisors because he doesn’t feel the need to.

The Taoiseach has told them he knows what to expect after five years of debating Mr Kenny in the Dáil.
