LABOUR last night said it would scrap controversial plans for private-public health clinics as a priority if it takes power.

The party’s health spokeswoman Liz McManus insisted co-location deals would be ripped-up by Labour in Government, unless contractual obligations had to be legally honoured.

And she attacked Health Minister Mary Harney’s plans to sign such commitments days before voters go to the polls.
