FG Labour now ‘only credible option’

A FINE GAEL-Labour alliance is now the only credible government on offer, the leaders of the two parties said yesterday.

Speaking at a joint press conference in Dublin’s Merrion Hotel at 4.30pm, Enda Kenny and Pat Rabbitte said the Fianna Fáil-PD coalition had “effectively collapsed”.

It meant there was only one “credible, stable government” on offer at the election — that of Fine Gael and Labour.
