Hospital complex decision expected within month

AFTER two unsuccessful attempts requesting outline planning permission for a super-hospital complex, the company behind the proposal can expect a decision next month.

An application by Abbeyrock Technologies Ltd to build a super-hospital complex, incorporating more than 1,000 beds, was twice rejected by South Dublin County Council on the grounds of an invalid site notice.

However a decision on the most recent application, lodged on March 23, is expected by May 16.
