CORK city is to honour the distinguished judge and former Lord Mayor, Sean O’Leary who died last year.

Council plans bench tribute to former judge

Mr O’Leary died at Cork University Hospital on December 22 aged 65 after a short illness.

The city council is now planning to install a park bench in his honour at The Lough — a city bird sanctuary — close to where the O’Learys lived before moving to Leemount. Mr O’Leary often used the popular amenity for his walks.
