Accountant’s reply to tribunal ‘incomplete’

MICHAEL Lowry’s accountant, Denis O’Connor, flatly denied he knew anything when the Moriarty Tribunal queried him about a British property dispute in which he played a significant role, it emerged yesterday.

Mr O’Connor apologised and admitted his replies were ‘incomplete’.

He described being frustrated and angry when his own solicitor interrupted his Italian family holiday with a series of tribunal queries, but rejected the suggestion he had knowingly given wrong answers.
