Rules of the road book updated

AN updated Rules of the Road book will be launched by the Transport Minister today — 12 years since the last guide for learner drivers was revised.

Rules of the road book updated

The new book is described as “significantly” bigger and more inclusive than the existing, guide for motorists.

Several new areas include a section on penalty points, introduced since the last book was released. A number of road signs which have been put up in recent years will also be examined inside the driving handbook. Extra street traffic such as the Luas have also made an addition to the capital’s streets since the previous publication.
