Locals urged to find plots outside town

PEOPLE in Killarney are being urged to seek graves for their loved ones in areas several miles from the town.

All space has been virtually used up in Killarney’s three public burial grounds, but a privately owned burial ground is in operation in the Aghadoe area.

Killarney Independent Councillor Brendan Cronin yesterday claimed Kerry County Council was abdicating its responsibility to provide public cemeteries.
