VETERAN drummer Jack Countey yesterday stole the show at Limerick’s International Bands Parade.

Jack helps drum up support for city parade

Jack, 80, travelled from New Jersey to guest with the St Mary’s Fife and Drum band from Limerick and become the oldest musician to play in the parade.

Jack is a drummer with the Governor’s Foot Guard Band in New Jersey and wanted to take part in the big Limerick parade.
