Kenny makes children’s health pledge

ENDA KENNY yesterday vowed that he would put children at the heart of Fine Gael policy.

Launching his party’s New Deal for Children policy, the Fine Gael leader said he was committed to providing free universal health care for every child under 16 in Ireland.

While the party announced no new initiatives it has gathered all its joint proposals with Labour into a single pamphlet which it says it will distribute to 500,000 homes.
