Grenade attack on Limerick house
A man in his 30s was yesterday being questioned by gardaí at Roxboro station about the attacks.
Gardaí suspect the attack is linked to the ongoing feud which recently the claimed the life of Noel Crawford.
He was not connected to the feud, but his brother Paul has stated publicly that a gang have a contract out on him.
The grenade was hurled into the front garden at around 9.50pm on Saturday night.
A number of shots were also fired at the house. Nobody was hurt in the attack.
At around 2.30am the previous day a petrol bomb was thrown at the house.
The army bomb disposal unit from Collins Barracks Cork, had to deal with a grenade discovered in the front sitting room of a house in O’Malley Park five months ago.
