Kenny out to ‘set Taoiseach straight’ over child rights referendum question
Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny said loopholes allowing adults to claim they did not know the true age of children they’d had sex with should be closed urgently.
He pledged to support a pre-general election vote to change the law and allow for agencies to be provided with “soft information” on people who had no criminal record but were suspected of sex crimes against children.
