New Leas Cross owners got highly critical reports

LEAS CROSS nursing home is set to reopen under new owners who are already under fire for damning conditions in other facilities they own.

It emerged yesterday the Swords home — shut down after an investigation exposed neglect and abuse — was sold to Limerick-based company Mowlam Healthcare.

However, two of Mowlam’s other homes were recently given highly critical inspections reports by health chiefs.
