DURING a high-speed incident involving feud gangs, a gunman opened fire while hanging out a car window weaving in and out of traffic, Limerick Circuit Court heard.

Recalling the failed assassination attack, prosecutor John O’Sullivan, BL said: “It was something akin to an old style gangster film out of Chicago.”

Paul Reddan, aged 21, a member of the McCarthy Dundon gang was the gunman’s driver during the incident.
