Sadly, Robbie Simpson, the youngest of a family of three boys, and an extremely active sportsman discovered he was suffering from dilated cardiomyopathy when it was too late to save him.

Despite the support of Robbie’s loving family and the innovative and expert care he received at Dublin’s Mater Hospital, Robbie died, aged 19 in May 2005.
