Arrest in Saulite investigation

GARDAÍ investigating the brutal shooting dead of a Latvian mother yesterday arrested a man suspected of possessing a gun the night the mother-of-two was killed.

This brings to eight the number of people questioned in connection with the murder of 28-year-old Baiba Saulite.

Senior detectives say they are making “steady progress” in the investigation.
