Just a minute: Larry to hang up weekday mike

ONE of the best known names in broadcasting Larry Gogan is to leave weekday radio after 45 years, it was revealed yesterday.

The DJ, who has interviewed some of the biggest stars in the music business over his lengthy career, has announced his decision to move to work weekends on RTÉ’s 2FM.

“I feel the time is right for a change and I’m looking forward to a less demanding work schedule,” the Golden Hour DJ said.
