Christmas comedy for homeless people

RISING stand-up comics will perform a special comedy night in Cork on Christmas Eve to raise money for homeless people.

More than 10 acts on the Irish and British comedy circuit will take part in A Christmas Night of Crunchy Nuts Comedy at An Crúiscín Lán on Douglas Street in the city.

Eighteen people who were being supported by Cork Simon projects and services died this year.
