A YOUNG Corkman has died in Thailand after a weekend motorbike crash.

George O’Mahony, 24, from Ballinahina, near Kilcully, was on a year off and was travelling in Thailand with his older brother when the accident occurred.

They were driving mopeds on Saturday when George was hit by a car. He suffered massive head injuries and was rushed to hospital, but he died on Sunday.
