Spirit of St Louis sees them past Sutton

THE adverse weather impacted severely on last evening’s sessions of the TCH All-Ireland Schools Quiz at the Montrose Hotel, Dublin.

Nonetheless, there were some very enjoyable performances which saw St Louis High School, Rathmines and CBC Monkstown advance to the second round.

The former withstood strong pressure from Sutton Park School, while CBC Monkstown scored strongly throughout to hold off Loreto High School, Rathfarnham. Newpark Comprehensive, Blackrock, also advanced with a bye.
