Hobbs claims Ahern is past his ‘sell-by date’

TAOISEACH Bertie Ahern is past his “sell-by date”, consumer advocate Eddie Hobbs has claimed.

The financial adviser and media commentator, whose television series exposed rip-offs in society and caused headaches for the Fianna Fáil-PD Government, doesn’t think the opposition is up to much either.

He addressed one of his favourite themes — the need to improve public services — when appearing yesterday on TV3’s The Political Party.
