Teachers graduate from online course

FORMER solicitors, nurses and accountants were yesterday among the latest crop of Irish primary school teachers to graduate after being taught online.

Graduates included Dublin GAA footballer Graham Norton, Kilkenny grandmother Frances Theloke and former public relations manager Bláthnaid Ní Bhreaslain from Co Roscommon.

All graduated from Dublin’s online Hibernia College following two years of learning primary teaching skills in the classroom and at home, via the internet.
