IRISH shoppers are being forced to pay more than their British counterparts for the same items of clothing in leading high-street stores.

An investigation into prices charged for items such as dresses, coats and handbags showed retailers such as Topshop, Oasis, Warehouse and Wallis bump up prices in their Irish stores.

Many retailers put tags on their clothes with the price in both Sterling and euro, yet when the difference is calculated it shows the retailers are guilty of rounding the price up when converting it to euro.
