THE artists at the centre of a bitter row over a comedy show now look set to battle it out, going head to head on rival programmes over the airwaves.

Comedian Oliver Callan hit the headlines after it emerged he was taking legal action against Mario Rosenstock, the creator of the comedy radio show Gift Grub on Today FM. The comedian is shocked and angry that several of his characters were used for this year’s Gift Grub compilation, launched last Friday.

“I don’t begrudge a penny of the money he’s (Mario) going to make out of this as they expect to sell 100,000 copies again this year,” he said yesterday.
