The mother of the children, who were horrifically injured when a car was set alight in Limerick’s Moyross estate last month, has been telling of their daily battle to recover.

Sheila Murray said her son Gavin, who just turned five, has nightmares that his hospital bed is on fire and her daughter Millie, six, needs morphine injections to cope with the pain of having her bandages replaced. Doctors have told her that both children will be scarred for life.
