Cork projects win health awards

SPECIAL merit awards were won by two Cork projects in the Health Services Innovation Awards 2006.

The awards were presented yesterday by HSE chief Professor Brendan Drumm to the North Lee Local Health Office Area and Cork University Hospital’s headache migraine clinic.

The Children’s Sunshine Home for the Development of palliative care services for children in Wexford was the overall winner.
