A MISSING mother-of-one told gardaí she feared for her safety, just 48 hours before she went missing in Waterford, on October 1.

Margaret (Meg) Walsh, 35, named the man who was making threats against her, but told officers she wanted no action taken, fearing such a move would put her in further danger.

The same individual is suspected of carrying out two serious assaults on the construction company employee in the past months.
