Council targets danger of roadside car sales

A MAJOR crackdown is planned on private individuals trying to sell cars on the roadside.

The activity has caused major concern to councillors who yesterday demanded swift action on the issue.

Fianna Fáil Councillor John A Collins told Cork County Council he was concerned about safety issues, especially as some individuals and groups of people had parked such cars on roundabouts and entrances to towns.
