The K Club might be the ultimate symbol of wealth in Celtic Tiger Ireland, but it’s taking a large army of volunteers to enable the exclusive course to host the world’s greatest golfing tournament.

The helpers include Co Cork foursome, Micheal Kenefick from Whitegate as well as Vera Santry, Veronica Whyte and Mary Lysaght, all from Fermoy, who are among the 700 marshals at the K Club for the week.
