Car petrol attack probe as big as murder investigation, says senior garda

THE garda chief heading the investigation into the car inferno, which caused serious burns to brother and sister Millie and Gavin Murray, said last night the inquiry was as big as any murder probe.

Superintendent Gerry Mahon said that up to 40 gardaí are involved.

He said: “We will assign whatever resources will be necessary.”
