A TEENAGER has died following a car accident in Cork city.

Marcus O’Riordan, a 17-year-old from Model Farm Road, died at Cork University Hospital (CUH) on Thursday from injuries he received on Monday night.

He was struck by a car as he was crossing the city’s Curaheen Road shortly after 10pm.
