Sardine oil ‘better than Ritalin’ for treating ADHD

OIL made from sardines is being hailed as more effective treatment of hyperactivity in children than the widely-used prescription drug Ritalin.

Manufacturers of fish oil supplement Eye Q claim their product is “safer and more effective” than Ritalin and other stimulant drugs.

Figures show a huge increase in prescriptions in recent years for Ritalin — the most widely used Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) stimulant drug on the market.
